About Our Presenters

Kim Kamin, JD, B.A., AEP®, joined Gresham Partners LLC after spending many years as a practicing attorney who counseled families regarding the preservation and transfer of their wealth over multiple generations. In her role at Gresham, Ms. Kamin leads the development and implementation of estate, wealth transfer, philanthropic, education and fiduciary planning activities, advising clients and speaking and writing on topics related to managing multi-generational wealth. Ms. Kamin is the immediate past president of the Chicago Estate Planning Council.  

 

 

Maximillienne "Max" Elliott, Esq., is the founder and managing attorney for The Law Offices of Max Elliott, Ltd., in Chicago and New York. Ms. Elliott's firm focuses on serving diverse clients, domestically and internationally, in estate planning, estate administration, and small business. Ms. Elliott is a faculty member of the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, a member of the Content Advisory Board for New York-based CLE provider, Lawline, a member of the US Trust, Bank of America Center on Influence on Estate Planning, the Illinois Legislative Liaison for the Executive Committee of the Chicago Bar Association Trust Law Committee, and a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council. Because of her strong commitment to public service, she supports the Chicago Women's Health Center, a women's medical collaborative center providing healthcare services to women living alternative lifestyles. 

 

Terry Navarro, is Co-Founder & CEO of JNJ & Associates, Ltd (JNJ). While collaborating with the clients' advisory team, JNJ will design, implement and monitor insurance portfolios to assist the client in successfully preserving their private capital through multiple generations and enhancing their business and philanthropoic endeavors. The alternative is to allow wealth to become exposed to income and estate taxes. JNJ serves indivduals, executives, business owners, affluent families, trusts and their respective advisors. Terry has presented at conferences and events across the United States, educating wealth advisors and other advisors about trends related to the life insurance industry. Before entering the insurance industry, Terry was a practicing CPA, providing tax and financial services for privately held companies. It is here, Terry honed his consultative and collaborative style in working with clients and other members of their advisory team. This collaboration results in customized life insurance solutions transferring and accumulating wealth in a tax-efficient and harmonious manner. Terry graduated from Northern Illinois University, B.S. in Accounting. He is the Secretary of the Chicago Estate Planning Council, and a member (since 2013) of the Chicago Estate Planning Council's Diversity Committee. 

 

Judith A. Saxe, JD, AEP®, CAP®, is the director of research and education for wealth strategies and a senior wealth strategist at CIBC Private Wealth in Boston, MA. In this role, Ms. Saxe leads firm-wide educational initiatives related to the work of the Wealth Strategies Group, including estate, gift, philanthropic, business succession, fiduciary and legacy planning. She also works collaboratively with clients and their advisors to create integrated estate plans, guide client families in evolving a healthy wealth culture and developing the rising generation, all as part of CIBC Private Wealth Management's integrated wealth management process. Ms. Saxe has over 30 years of industry experience counseling high net worth individuals, corporate executives, owners of closely held businesses and multinationals on sophisticated estate planning designs and strategies. She currently serves on the Accredited Estate Planner® Designation Committee and is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council.
