This event takes place from 3:00 pm ET - 4:00 pm ET.

A value proposition is defined as a concise statement of the benefits that a company is delivering to customers who buy its products or services. It serves as a declaration of intent, both inside the company and in the marketplace.  In the case of your Estate Planning Council, a value proposition speaks to benefits of membership, what one receives in return from being a member, and why a professional should invest time and money in the organization.  (Hint: It is NOT the chicken at dinner!)  While each council is somewhat unique, there are aspects of the membership experience that are consistent across the network.

This session will begin by addressing important questions like:

  • Who is our target audience?
  • What does a member receive by being an active participant in his/her/their experience?
  • What makes our council unique among other membership associations?
  • What are we not?

The remainder of our time will be spent working to formulate the beginning of your council's value proposition so your board has a starting point from which to work.
