If you feel like your council has changed after the pandemic, you are not alone. Some councils flourished, others paused operations, others that were already feeling pressure considered disbanding, and some took the time to regroup, reenergize, and reevaluate goals, member service, and objectives.
Even prior to the pandemic the association world was beginning to change. Advancements in technology, increasing prices, and members reevaluating their commitments were (and have remained) commonplace. As a result, councils are now forced to revisit the very foundation on which their organization was built to ensure the future of the organization.
