About our Presenters

Bryan Clontz, Ph.D., CFP®, CAP®, AEP® (Distinguished), is the founder and president of Charitable Solutions, LLC, specializing in non-cash asset receipt and liquidation, gift annuity reinsurance brokerage, actuarial gift annuity risk management consulting, emergency assistance funds, as well as virtual currency and life insurance appraisals/audits. He also serves as Senior Partner of Ekstrom Alley Clontz & Associates - a community foundation consulting firm in Tucson, Arizona. Bryan has given more than 2,000 presentations on charitable gift planning and community foundation topics and has authored a book titled Charitable Gifts of Noncash Assets, a planned giving manual titled Just Add Water, and many articles in financial services and planned giving journals. He has been quoted by the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Kiplinger's Personal Finance, Bloomberg Wealth and serves as a guest columnist on charitable tax issues for Forbes

 

Paul Caspersen, CFP®, AEP®, MS, is President of Planned Giving Interactive, LLC, which he founded in 2020 and includes a network of planned giving consultants and other specialists who contract with PGI to serve their clients with a range of consulting services, software applications, and other tools. PGI provides charities with practical tools to research complex gifts and an industry-leading, extensive suite of document drafting software and consulting tools to automate donor compliance-related documents. Paul brings complex financial thinking to the charitable planning field with 25 years of financial, estate, and charitable planning experience. Between 2012 and 2022, Paul served as Assistant Vice President and Senior Philanthropic Advisor at the University of Florida where his gift planning team closed $1.25 billion (of the campaign's $4 billion total) in deferred gifts and outright gifts of complex assets. Paul also serves as a national board member of the NAEPC and is a member of the North Central Florida Estate Planning Council.
